The Wound: Ignored, It Will Kill the Man-Made “Whole”.

The Slave Ship is a painting by the British artist J. M. W. Turner, first exhibited in 1840. It is now in the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.

We are GOOD - for we are utilitarian!

We are just-ified, because WE sacrifice freedoms, by law, for the good of the man-made “whole”.

For its persistence, for its building, and for its permanence!

But, “The whole”?

The King, the “representative” body, the flag, the “city on the hill”, “civilization”, the marketplace: “the whole”, manifest on time’s shifting canvas — variantly.

Institutional human grandeur!

The Whole: In today it is “the marketplace” — In yesterday it was “The King”.

But what and whom are “the sacrificed”, whose “freedoms” are sacrificed in each time?

These, guardians of “the whole” — are they willing participants, the sacrificed? Do they know?! Did they know?!?

Does one sacrifice oneself?

Do you?

How many do?

How many are selfless patriots to this, “the whole”?

Very few!

Perhaps, even NONE!

Certainly, not the slaved — nor the collateral!

But, “The whole” must go on,

“The King” must live,

“The representative body”, must too,

and “The marketplace”! YES!

Man made — flat earth, astigmatic vision, born in flawed, weak original sin!

“The whole”, yet, Must live!

Long Live “The Whole”! Long Live The King!

And, what is sacrificed — who and how?

“The un-human”? “The inferior”? “The diseased”? “The old and irrelevant”? “The un-named”? “The mis-named”? “The without merit”? “The un-pedigreed”? “Defenders of the ‘untruth’”? Inside.

And Whom, outside?

On May 26, 2020, I dedicated this poem, The Wound, to Mr. George Floyd who on the day prior was brutally murdered in broad daylight by 4 Minneapolis Police officers.

Whom, do WE sacrifice — lawfully in man’s law?

Is it the black, the red, the yellow, the brown?

Is it that, white, who lives below the Dixon and the Mason line?

Is it that who lives in Indian country?

Or that who lives in rich country without roads and laws — where sand covers oil, or dense wood covers the earth — outside?

Or, is it that who carries a disease masked and occult?

Who are “the sacrificed”, WE sacrifice?

Whose, mother and brother? Whose, sister and husband? Whose, wife and son? Whose, town and nation?

These wounded carriers of the stain and scar THEY…. call injustice!

Or is it all just-ified for “The Whole” — no matter whom? No matter for how long this carried wound is alive!

A wound — or a delusion of mental and physical lassitude? Or a failure to accept and move on — weakness?

Is sacrifice, all sacrifice, just — because it is just-ified?!

Because it is passed?!

Perhaps there is no such thing as injustice — or justice!

Perhaps, it is all just-ified — at the altar of, THIS, “The Whole”!

Clean, pure, potent, living-not-dead, civilized…rich, self-absorbed, deserving of sacrifice — belligerent, mocking, indignant, ignorant, unhistoric of the wound, dripping with disdain and loud sarcasm for the word injustice….

Living and thriving only in this prosperous moment, blinded! Man-made “whole”.

For, NO, there is NO justice needed if the sacrificed were undone for “The Whole”.

There in NO wound in need of healing!

There is no need for such a word, justice, or its agents — for there is no just-ification needed to the sacrificed. It is just-ified! It is lawful!

Justice is dead to the Just-ified Whole!

“The whole” who carries the balm to heal the wound — but knows it not.

But Ignore the wound … think it a delusion — and it shall kill “the whole”!

For it is a mortal wound onto THE WHOLE, itself — just-ified and ignored…

blind to its own pathos — to our pathos!

It Dies.

We Die!

Be ware of the wound upon “The Sacrificed” soul!

For it lives inside and outside of time immortal…

in His just heart.
