I think that if you received the first dose uneventfully and that you've been reasonably isolated, there is no need to get screened at this point. By week 3-4 after first dose U are likely to have IgG antibodies in your system already. So, U are likely to be ok and free of infection.

On the other hand if your first vaccine was rough, you may want to just get a blood test and if you have IgG antibodies you can think about skipping the second shot. The second dose is usually more immunogenic.

But from the sounds of it you tolerated the first dose well. So my suggestion is that you proceed with getting the second shot.
